Glitterfied Celebration!!! Recipe, and DIY! ♥♥♥♥

February is filled with so much celebration!
My birthday, the anniversary of iSparkle Cupcakes, and Valentine's day!
I thought to celebrate I would share a little how-to for you to make for your Valentine!

Red Velvet cupcake stuffed
Chocolate dipped Strawberries! ♥♥♥
They are so fun, and easy!

The first thing you need to do is make up your favorite Red Velvet cupcakes!

May it be that secret recipe from your grandma, or a quick box mix!
(I won't judge you for using a box mix, don't worry!)

Or you can make it fun, and use this doctored up box mix!
Don't worry it's still easy!!

1 Red Velvet Cake Mix
1 box chocolate instant pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. Almond extract
You add more Red Coloring too if you want it to be super red velvet! 

Throw everything in a bowl, and mix it all up!
Scoop into cupcake pans, and bake 22mins at 325*

The other things you need are:
♥ a scissor (wash them!!)
♥♥ Melting Chocolate like candy melts,
I really like Ghirardelli!
♥♥♥ Fresh Strawberries
♥♥♥♥♥ Fun sprinkles, and glitter
to throw on them!
♥♥♥♥♥ parchment paper, or cupcake liners



Step 1: Take your strawberry, and make a cut into it about half way up

Step 2: Brake off some of your Red Velvet cupcake.

Step 3: Stuff as much Red Velvet cupcake into that strawberry as you'd like!!
A little or a lot! I say the more the merrier!
Step 4: Melt your chocolate, now you can use any kind of melting chocolate you want.
I used white Chocolate because I think it pairs nicely with Red Velvet cake! But dark Chocolate would be just as yummy!
Make sure you melt it 30sec at a time stirring in between so your chocolate doesn't burn.

After you melt it you're ready to dip your strawberries!!!

Then you can either set them each right into a pretty cupcake liner,
or onto parchment paper!

Make sure you sprinkle them up before that chocolate dries!
And throw a little over your shoulder for good luck!

Merry Christmas!(DIY Snowmen oreos!)♥♥♥

Christmas always seems to bring out the kid in me.

I think it shows in every cupcake swirl sitting in my case today.
From a peanut butter reindeer frosting swirl on top of of Chocolate cupcake,
to the silly Olaf cupcakes beside them!

Since I live in Wisconsin, and the weather here is crazy cold,
I haven't been able to build a real snowman; so instead I sat inside in my nice cozy sweater, frosting covered yoga pants, and sparkle covered ugg boots, and made these!

Chocolate covered oreo snowmen!!!
These are so easy peasy that I thought I'd show you *all* how to make them yourself!

Since I'm sure you all know how to dip oreos in chocolate I skipped that part!
Or you can cheat, and buy the oreos already dipped in chocolate!
Yes they make some already dipped in chocolate!

Here are my already dipped oreos ready to be snowmen!!!

Here are all the fun things you need!
Besides the Chocolate covered oreos of course!

1. Chocolate candy melts
2. Orange colored candy melts
3. a cup to melt chocolate in.
4. Red Heart sprinkles! (because sprinkles make everything more fun!)
5. A cakepop stick
6. a little plastic bag. (I used one that I put over finished cakepops)

First you melt a little bit of the chocolate in the cup!
(Make sure you melt it 30sec. at a time so it doesn't burn!)

Then you dip your cakepop stick into the chocolate:

Then you just dab on some eyeballs!

Then the mouth!

Are your hands shaking yet? (:
Taaaaaadaaaa! It's got eyes, and a mouth now!

If you want to have girly snowmen, then you can
add a red Christmas hair bow to them like this!

Then to make the nose, you take that little plastic bag,
and melt a little bit of the orange colored candy melts in it,
cut off the little part on the end, so you just can draw on the nose with the chocolate!


Taaaaada!!!! You made snowmen oreos!

Icing Smiles. ♥♥♥

I always feel like giving back is just something you should do.
Even when you don't have a lot to give, it's the little things that really matter.

I honestly feel like I wouldn't be where I am today,
if people didn't have that kind of giving generosity towards me!
Even now everyday all of you give me something, you give me support, and hope by little facebook posts, even coming in here and just buying a cupcake. You all give me so much.

I had the chance to make a cake for a special little boy
celebrating the 1 year anniversary of his heart transplant!
When I saw the post for it, I jumped at the chance to be able to do it!

It's not every day you get the chance to be apart of something like this.
I couldn't believe people weren't lined up wanting to make him a cake.
I can't even imagine what he went through, what his family had to go through.
How could you not want to make him a cake?

This is the cake I made him, yes there are sparkles, yes that is a sparkly batman
and extra, extra heaping overflowing scoops of love baked into this cake!

Here he is with his cake!!! He loved it,
so I think that means mission accomplished?!

I hope I left a little sparkle on his lips after he ate the cake,
because he sure left more then a little sparkle in my heart!

I have never felt so overwhelmed with cupcake love before!
On my birthday when I walked into my store filled with balloons from people who love me!
To all the people who gave me celebration hugs on my *one* year of being open!
To the little cute things I randomly find wrote about my store in the newspaper.
All the sparkly comments on my facebook page!
To the perfectly worded nicest thing anyone has every wrote about my cupcakes!
All the new fun people I have been meeting, it is just this overwhelming feeling of happiness.
It makes me want to twirl around, and throw glitter at everyone because I love you all!
You're filling my heart with even more sparkly memories!

Thank you for making me feel like I am adding a little bit more sparkle to the world
...one cupcake at a time!!!

One year of sparkles!

Yes......It's true! Today marks one year of sparkling sparkles on your cupcakes!
The last year as been such an adventure!
Thousands, and thousands of cupcakes have gone out of my little store, and gone on to leave
that little speck of sparkle on your lips long after that cupcake is gone!

This was the start!!!!
I remember being at the mall baking until like
3am so I could have tons, and tons of sparkly cupcakes for my grand opening!!!

This was my store when I first opened!
It was cute, but wasn't totally *me* yet!

Then after gallons, and gallons of paint.....
my store is now cute, sparkly, and pink; just like my cupcakes!

I am overly thankful for where my cupcakes have taken me.
For all the fun people I've met just because I make cupcakes.
For all the hugs, and sparkly support from everyone!

You are all making *my* dreams come true!

There is just something about a rainbow cupcake swirl with
sliver sparkles that just makes me happy.

People always ask me: "Why cupcakes?"
Well because....there is just something about a little cupcake.
something special that just makes you happy.
It's like a warm hug from a friend you haven't seen in a while.
It's feeling like a kid again when you bite into your PB&J cupcake.
It's the dreamy frosting swirl on top that makes you feel like life isn't so bad.

Cupcakes are like 50% butter, 50% sugar, and 200% love.

I will always be here with a sparkly cupcake, and hug for anyone who needs one.

It was a dozen, and a half cupcakes of fun! ♥ ♥ ♥

♥ ♥ ♥ I recently applied to be on cupcakes! I'm *crossing* my fingers they call me!
Anyways....last Saturday I went down to Madison for the Iron Cupcake!
It was a dozen, and a half cupcakes of fun! ♥ ♥ ♥

On the way back, we got lost, and ended up stopping at culvers!
I went in, and got food. I was wearing my "I heart iSparkle Cupcakes" t-shirt.
This guy started asking me if this sparkly cupcakes place was real! I was like yes I own it!
Then they wanted cupcakes...so of course I had to go get some of the left over cupcakes I made for iron cupcake, and share them! They were all so happy! They gave me hugs, and free ice cream, and said they would come visit, and they expect to see me on cupcake wars someday!

It made me so happy that my cupcakes made them all happy!
It was like we were meant to get lost, and end up there!

I'm starting to think I need a little pink cupcake
mobile so I can bring sparkly cupcakes to everyone!!!

dreams become reality...♥♥♥

I strongly believe in dreaming big, and reaching for the stars.
I think there are too many people out there that don't dream, that don't reach for the stars, that don't believe in themselves because of other people around them trying to bring them down.
I've had someone tell me once that I shouldn't even own my own business because I'm too young.
I don't think you can be too young to live your life.
There isn't an age limit on dreams.
Everyday should be a grand adventure.

Everyone who is telling me that I can't do this,
is just pushing me harder to prove them wrong.
I do believe that I am proving them wrong everyday.
I have so many other people who are supporting me, who love me,
who believe in me, who know that I got this in the bag!



I feel like I was meant to add a little sparkle
to the lives of everyone who comes into my bakery.

Just know that this little store in Wisconsin Rapids,
is just the first step of my dream....
I have big plans for my sparkly cupcakes, you just wait!

really be eating this for breakfast...

Sometimes a cupcake is so sinfully delightful that you feel like a

little kid who just snuck a cookie out of the cookie jar,

and you don't want your mother to catch you eating it!

Ice cream cupcakes...the perfect way to have your cake,
and ice cream in one delightful bite!

How can you not play with your food,

when it's smiling back at you?

It's the little things in life that make each day lovely.
So take a bite, you only live once....♥

You make it all worth getting up at 5:45am in the morning to come in,
and bake yummy sparkly cupcakes!

It's been an exciting, and fun adventure these last couple of months.
I can honestly tell you that I don't think there's a day that goes by that I don't leave here covered in sparkles, and frosting in my hair....all I need is a cherry on top(I need a cherry headband! hint hint!<3), and I'd look like a cupcake! 

So...since I have over 500 fans on facebook...

the tutu cupcake ♥♥

When I got an email to make a cupcake that was
pink, white, and sparkly for a girl on the day of her dance recital.......
the first thing that came to mind was a tutu.

I wanted to somehow turn my cupcake into a sparkly pink ballerina.

With help from my lovely tutu designer
(she makes all my sparkly tutus).
This was created! ♥♥

We had such a lovely time making this together.

The cupcake was pink, and sparkly, with beautiful swirls of roses.

This cupcake was like a total represent of my cupcakery.

Cupcake minions!

Have you ever seen the movie despicable me?
With those little cute yellow guys, the minions!

They make me giggle....
Which is why I was giggling the whole time making this:
